Plenty~O~Gifts is hosted through a company called ProStores. Another company thinks is now putting on an e-commerce makeover contest for ProStore members, or people who are wanting to become a part of the ProStores community. On their blog they have announced this contest. You enter the contest by writing why you think that you need an e-commerce make over, in a max of 350 words. I chose to post our entry onto our blog and link it back to them so that our customers can stay updated with what is inside our heads as well!

This is Plenty~O~Gifts entry into why we think that a e-commerce makeover could benefit our company so much more than in just sales...

I think that a ProStores web store facelift would really help our business because we having such a hard time converting sales. We started my business from scratch with little money to spend on making the site stand out. I am spending all extra money on marketing and educating myself on the best way to approach this site. I have heard many stories about people spending money on additions to their site only to learn later that it was the totally wrong direction to take a site of their niche. I am trying to spend our stores budget wisely but I do think that makes our store seem a bit boring, and like all the others.

Having a gift shop website I think that the first look of my site makes even more of a difference than just a typical eCommerce website. There are a lot of different sites out there for gifts, and many of them are run the same way that we run ours. I want and need our site to stand out so that people see that our company is different, exciting, fun, new as well as trustworthy! I have quite a few large goals for our site, and any help financially or in any other way to get my site there would be greatly appreciated as well as taken with deep gratitude and thought. A ProStores face lift could help improve our sales which in turn can help increase our budget which would leave more money for our education, more marketing, new site design, and donations to our community and important causes! We want to win this contest so in turn we can become more successful and can give so much back to other companies, people, and foundations!
