Our entry to thinks e-commerce make over contest!

Plenty~O~Gifts is hosted through a company called ProStores. Another company thinks is now putting on an e-commerce makeover contest for ProStore members, or people who are wanting to become a part of the ProStores community. On their blog they have announced this contest. You enter the contest by writing why you think that you need an e-commerce make over, in a max of 350 words. I chose to post our entry onto our blog and link it back to them so that our customers can stay updated with what is inside our heads as well!

This is Plenty~O~Gifts entry into why we think that a e-commerce makeover could benefit our company so much more than in just sales...

I think that a ProStores web store facelift would really help our business because we having such a hard time converting sales. We started my business from scratch with little money to spend on making the site stand out. I am spending all extra money on marketing and educating myself on the best way to approach this site. I have heard many stories about people spending money on additions to their site only to learn later that it was the totally wrong direction to take a site of their niche. I am trying to spend our stores budget wisely but I do think that makes our store seem a bit boring, and like all the others.

Having a gift shop website I think that the first look of my site makes even more of a difference than just a typical eCommerce website. There are a lot of different sites out there for gifts, and many of them are run the same way that we run ours. I want and need our site to stand out so that people see that our company is different, exciting, fun, new as well as trustworthy! I have quite a few large goals for our site, and any help financially or in any other way to get my site there would be greatly appreciated as well as taken with deep gratitude and thought. A ProStores face lift could help improve our sales which in turn can help increase our budget which would leave more money for our education, more marketing, new site design, and donations to our community and important causes! We want to win this contest so in turn we can become more successful and can give so much back to other companies, people, and foundations!

I would like to thank thinks for even putting this contest on! It is great to know that there are others out there who are trying to help us small business owners grow and achieve so much more than we already have!

I know that some people are still not completely comfortable with purchasing things online. Here at Plenty~O~Gifts we completely understand that, and we do offer many different shopping options to our customers. If you would prefer we can send you catalogs with information on how to purchase all the perfect gifts for your family through mail order. We offer many different catalogs to all of our customers, we will be adding a checkout option for you to order these catalogs directly from this blog, or again you can visit Plenty~O~Gifts and order the blogs from our website. Also you can send an email to CustomerService@plentyogifts.com and let us know that you are interested in getting a catalog to browse through. If you choose to email us please include the number of catalogs that you are looking to receive as well as the kind of catalog you would like to receive. We are more than happy to help you pick the best catalog for you if you would like to only receive one. If you just let us know what kind of presents you are looking to purchase and we will be able to figure out the catalog that would fit your situation best. Below I have listed the different catalogs that we do have to offer you, with a brief description of what you can expect from the times within each catalog.

World Of Products – This is our largest catalog and offers a wide variety of Plenty~O~Gifts products. It includes almost all items that are shown on the website.

Bayberry Lane – This catalog is smaller, but it showcases all of our best selling items.

Family Avenue – This catalog is meant to showcase all the different times of everyone's lives, it is family oriented.

Big Value Book – This catalog only contains our items that are price at $19.95 or under!

Summerfield Terrace – This is our seasonal catalog that showcases our home & garden décor.

We also offer a few more seasonal catalogs such as; Christmas, Song Bird Valley, Wings of Devotion, and Dragon Crest Manor
